Rob Duffin, the Aquavis Pulse 10, and a customer
Founder of Aquavis

Hi, I'm Rob!

Aquavis began with a simple mission: to make clean, safe water effortless for every home.

As a busy dad of five, I know how chaotic life can get. Like many families, we relied on fridge and pitcher filters, or tap water, without realizing what we were drinking. Working with ultra-pure water systems opened my eyes to the contaminants in tap water and how little most filters remove.

That's why I started Aquavis.

Aquavis is water filtration made effortless. I hope you'll experience the difference.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to hire a plumber for the installation of the Aquavis Pulse system?

Our under-sink water filtration systems are designed for easy installation, and you won't need a plumber. If you have any questions or need assistance, reach out to our Customer Support line at (385) 376-4202 or support@goaquavis.com.

What tools do I need to install my Aquavis Pulse?

All you need to install your Aquavis Pulse is a variable speed drill, adjustable wrench, and phillips head screwdriver. No drilling into countertops or complicated plumbing. For detailed instructions, watch the video and download the PDF here.

Can I use my existing kitchen faucet with the new Aquavis water filter?

Certainly! The filter is designed for convenient access to clean water directly from your existing faucet. While it's not the system's primary intent, it can also be used with a dedicated faucet. Note that you'll need to purchase any additional parts required for this setup, and installation instructions for this specific configuration are not provided.

What contaminants does the Aquavis Pulse reduce in my water?

The Aquavis Pulse 10 is an independently tested catalytic activated carbon filter, designed to reduce contaminants including lead, cysts, chlorine, chloramine, microplastics, PFAS, VOCs, herbicides and pesticides, some pharmaceuticals, and more. Learn more here.

Will Aquavis lower my water's TDS reading?

Not necessarily, because TDS meters are not an effective way to measure a carbon filter's effectiveness. TDS meters measure the total concentration of dissolved minerals, salts, and other things in your water, both healthy and unhealthy. Some of these things are reduced by Aquavis, and others are not. Aquavis targets specific contaminants, such as chlorine, lead, microplastics, chloramine, cysts, and more, and leaves healthy dissolved solids in your water. So it won't necessarily lower your overall TDS reading.

What is the size of the dual port adapter connecting to the water line?

The dual port adapter fits 3/8" water lines, which is the most common size.

I'm a renter and can't modify plumbing. What should I do?

No need to worry! The Aquavis Pulse utilizes your existing faucet, eliminating the need for drilling or plumbing modifications. Simply attach it to the cold water line under your sink. It's easy to uninstall and take with you to your next residence.

How often should I replace the filter, and what is the cost?

To maintain system efficiency and prevent bacterial growth, replace the filter every six months or upon reaching the specified 750-gallon capacity for the Aquavis filter. Check replacement pricing here. Consider joining our auto-ship program, REPlenish, to save 20% on filters and enjoy free shipping.

Does it remove fluoride?

Not by design. The Pulse 10 is a catalytic activated carbon filter, and fluoride is not a contaminant it is built to reduce. In independent laboratory testing to the NSF/ANSI 53 protocol it showed a partial reduction of about 31%, well short of what the standard requires for a fluoride claim. If fluoride reduction is your goal, a reverse osmosis system is the right tool.

How does the Aquavis Pulse differ from other under-sink systems?

Other systems require complicated installations and tedious filter changes, and often only offer basic filtration. The Aquavis Pulse 10 delivers premium filtered water straight from your tap after a simple 15 minute installation. No experience or expertise is required. No secondary faucet is required, though it will work with it if you already have one. No filter wrenches, no plumber, no hassle. Just peace of mind and delicious water.

Aquavis Filter

I've had a a under sink Aquavis filter for a couple of years now. I replace the filter ever 6 months as recommended. 8 have it set up for automatic delivery. 8 get a heads up via email when I should expect it. It literally takes me a minute to replace. isolate filter by shutting the valves off under the sink, twist filter 1/4 turn or so, twist new filter on 1/4 turn, turn valves back on. Easy. Results are clean water and peace of mind. Strongly recommend.

Clean water

The water where we live is naturally not very good because of the location near the ocean. The filter has taken care of that quite well. Keep up the good work.
